TESS RAMSEY
Tess Ramsey (they/them) is a new media artist, technologist, and educator based in New York City. They run a makerspace at The Speyer Legacy School for K-8 students and teach Creative and Computational Thinking classes. They hold a BFA in Sculpture from the Tyler School of Art, where they focused on promoting gender equality through performance art, interactive installations, and community workshops.
As a current Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Equity Fellow, Tess creates educational resources for students and PD for other teachers that seeks to reshape our collective approach to Computer Science education, empowering all students to gain 21st century skills.
